Provide strategic leadership to achieve sales and profit goals for a distribution location with revenue up to $50 million. Manage a team of direct reports while overseeing will call operations and maintaining key customer relationships.
Requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred) and at least 5 years of professional sales experience in a related industry. Must have at least 2 years of experience managing staff and programs at a regional or national level.
As a Manager – Sales, you will provide strategic direction and progressive leadership to achieve sales and profit goals within a region, specific line(s) of business or channels. You will design and recommend sales and marketing programs and set short and long-term sales strategies. You will manage a single location with a total sales revenue of up to $50 million and manage a team of direct reports.
Special Mention: This is a “sales-on-the-floor” role within a distribution environment, requiring someone who can run will call operations while actively driving revenue and customer relationships, in a newly evolving, high-impact setup.
Working Environment: Outside Sales – Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
