The Universal Banker handles a dual role of teller transactions and platform services to deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include processing transactions, opening deposit accounts, and recommending financial products to meet customer needs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and 1-4 years of experience in sales and customer service. A Banker Certification must be obtained within the specified timeframe following hire or promotion.
Starting salary for Universal Banker position is $19.50 an hour and up, depending on experience.
Under direct supervision of an Assistant Manager or Community President, this position is responsible for assisting customers in a dual role (Platform/60% Teller) focused on delivering outstanding service with every customer interaction. The Universal Banker will perform teller transactions, service existing customers, and offer product and service solutions to existing customers or prospects when appropriate and beneficial. The Universal Banker is responsible for completing all training, passing Banker Certification within 6 months of hire/promotion date prior to progressing to Universal Banker I, and demonstrating their ability to meet or exceed customer expectations.
