Collectors is the leading creator of innovative technology that provides value-added services for collectors worldwide. We grade, authenticate, vault, and sell millions of record-setting collectibles, all while modernizing and digitalizing the process to further our mission of helping collectors pursue their passions. We’re always on the lookout for talented people to join our growing team.
Our services span collectible trading cards, autographs, comic books, coins, video games, event tickets, and memorabilia. Our subsidiaries include PSA, PCGS, Beckett, SGC, and Card Ladder.
Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 3000 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana, California and offices in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Canada, Mexico, Germany, and France.
As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.
We understand there may be occasional circumstances requiring accommodation and are happy to discuss them as needed. Your recruiter will be able to clarify expectations and answer any questions you have.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager, PCGS APAC (Excluding China) to support the growth and market development of PCGS across Hong Kong and key Asia-Pacific markets. This role will focus on driving new business, increasing submissions and average sales price, strengthening dealer and collector relationships, and expanding PCGS’s presence with strategic clients and partners. The role will operate in a highly cross-functional environment, partnering closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure the region is well supported while delivering commercial results. This position will be based in Hong Kong and will report to the General Manager, PCGS APAC.
What You’ll Do ● Drive regional business development initiatives to increase submissions, revenue, and average sales price across assigned markets. ● Identify and convert new business opportunities with dealers, collectors, auction houses, trade partners, and other strategic accounts. ● Build, manage, and expand strong relationships across the PCGS client network, with particular focus on high-potential and high-value customers. ● Partner with business leadership to help develop sales programs, pricing strategies, and commercial plans that support profitable growth. ● Work closely with global and regional marketing teams to align campaigns, events, and brand initiatives with local market opportunities and customer needs.
● Support regional trade shows, coin events, and client meetings to drive awareness, engagement, and submissions. ● Facilitate the implementation and effective use of sales tracking, management, and software to improve pipeline visibility and performance measurement. ● Monitor regional market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity, and provide regular reporting, forecasts, and actionable recommendations to leadership. ● Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to improve service levels, submission workflows, and the overall customer experience. ● Establish long-term, financially focused goals and track progress against key commercial metrics and success measures.
Who You Are ● 5-10+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or commercial roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding client relationships. ● Strong relationship builder with the ability to earn trust with dealers, collectors, and strategic partners across international markets. ● Commercially minded and analytically strong, with experience using data, pipeline tools, and market intelligence to guide decisions and prioritize opportunities.
● Effective communicator who can represent the PCGS brand credibly and professionally with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. ● Highly organized, polished, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in both office and field environments. ● Collaborative team player who works well across functions to solve problems and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. ● Experience in the collectibles, auction, or grading industries. ● Experience with CRM, sales tracking, and marketing platforms is preferred.
Language Skills Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required. Additional Asian language skills are a strong plus.
Travel Requirements Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25-30% of the time for trade shows, customer meetings, and internal collaboration.
Compensation Compensation for this position is competitive and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and overall skillset.
