Responsible for the end-to-end development of new consumer products from initial ideation and prototyping to mass production. This includes creating 3D models, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality launches.
Requires at least 3 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering with proficiency in Solidworks and design for manufacturing. Candidates should be experienced in rapid R&D and the product lifecycle of electro-mechanical consumer goods.

This role is responsible for the development of new products and technologies, as well as the enhancement of existing product lines. The Mechanical Engineer will be involved in the “sketch to scale” development of our rapidly growing portfolio of consumer goods. You will play an integral role in ensuring R&D initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, all while achieving desired product functionality.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self starter, problem solver, experienced in rapid R&D and mass manufacture product design. They must be comfortable working within a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment. Asia-Pacific manufacturing experience with a focus in electro-mechanical consumer goods is a plus.

This is a hybrid, US-based role. The ideal candidate is based in NYC metro area and able to commute to our NYC office 2-3 times per week.
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 and is based on experience, skills, and location.
