The Associate Technical Designer supports the development of children's apparel by creating tech packs and establishing fit and construction specifications. They collaborate with design and merchandising teams to ensure product quality and translate aesthetic intentions into executable technical packages.
Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience in technical design, patternmaking, or apparel product development. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in garment construction, fit, and 3D design software.
Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Technical Designer to support the development of children's apparel. This role partners with Technical Design, Design and overseas vendors to create and maintain development tech packs, establish specifications, and support fit, construction, and quality standards throughout the product development process.
The ideal candidate has strong technical design skills, knowledge of garment construction and fit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with PLM systems, Browzwear 3D, and Walmart programs is a plus.
