The operator is responsible for transporting materials using overhead cranes and performing routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance. They must also adhere to safety protocols, coordinate with operations teams, and maintain a clean work area.
Candidates need at least 2 years of crane operation experience, preferably in steelmaking or heavy manufacturing, and a basic understanding of crane hand signals. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.
