Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to examine cardiac tissue and body structures while ensuring high-quality image submission to PACS. Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety and regulatory compliance standards within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Requires a High School Diploma with 2 years of experience or an Associate's degree, along with BLS certification. Candidates must hold or obtain specific credentials from CCI, ARRT, or ARDMS within the specified timeframe.
The Cardiac Cath Lab at UAB St. Vincent’s Birmingham provides expert cardiac care in an outpatient setting utilizing cutting-edge technology with three fully equipped cath labs and two non-invasive labs. We offer a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including procedures like heart catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), as well as advanced imaging techniques such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS, OCT) and functional assessments (FFR/iFR). As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll work in an environment where your expertise can make a lasting impact.
Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing quality images for interpretation.
