IT, Cybersecurity, AI, and Business Systems

  • Lead IT strategy, systems roadmap, cybersecurity, infrastructure, business applications, user support, technology governance, policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assess outsourced IT services and recommend which responsibilities should remain outsourced or move in-house based on cost, risk, capability, security, compliance, scalability, and continuity.
  • Oversee equipment provisioning, access administration, onboarding/offboarding technology workflows, network administration, communications tools, IT assets, software licenses, and core platforms including Google Workspace, Acumatica, and approved AI tools.
  • Lead cybersecurity management, including training, endpoint security, access controls, authentication standards, user access reviews, incident response, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Develop the Company's AI policy and governance framework covering approved tools, permitted and prohibited use cases, confidentiality, data security, intellectual property, human review, training, monitoring, and escalation.
  • Translate business requirements into practical system, process, reporting, workflow, integration, internal control, user adoption, vendor, budget, and subscription-management solutions.

KEY METRICS

  • Major project milestones completed on time, within approved scope, and with effective cross-functional adoption.
  • Open project risks, overdue action items, unresolved escalations, and executive satisfaction with project visibility and accountability.
  • European 3PL, Acumatica manufacturing/warehouse/inventory/barcoding, e-commerce, automation, ClearShield inspection, and AI implementation milestones achieved.
  • AI policy adopted and maintained; selected IT responsibilities transitioned in-house; IT response/resolution and onboarding/offboarding access timeliness improved.
  • Cybersecurity training completion, phishing results, user access reviews, incident trends, IT spending, software utilization, and subscription consolidation savings tracked.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with IT governance, cybersecurity oversight, business systems administration, vendor management, internal IT operations, PMO processes, change management, data governance, and internal controls.
  • Experience with AI governance, medical device, life sciences, manufacturing, regulated products, FDA-regulated environments, and Acumatica preferred.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
