Requires at least five years of vivarium operations experience, including two years of leadership, and a degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, or a related science field. LAT certification is required, with a proven history of successful AAALAC accreditations.
Mispro fosters and ensures the responsible and humane use of in vivo research models within our network of AAALAC-accredited contract vivariums (primarily rodent). The Site Operations Site Supervisor will provide tactical performance oversight to multiple Mispro Contract Vivaria (CVOs) ensuring high-caliber execution of animal welfare/compliance programs and assure Mispro’s full compliance with federal, state, local and accrediting regulations while actively advancing diversified novel preclinical research by an expansive client base. This position will report directly to the Site Operations Regional Manager.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
This local leadership position is responsible for direct animal care/operations/staff performance of at least two (2) Mispro vivaria and associated insourcings in our global, AAALAC-accredited, in vivo research support program. Mispro is a service-based organization supporting multiple clients performing preclinical in vivo research studies.
