The role involves running large-scale reprogramming screens and developing methods for the delivery and control of epigenetic payloads in primary mammalian cells. You will design functional genomics screens to measure the effects of epigenetic reprogramming on cellular states and contribute to therapeutic molecule formulation.
Requires a Ph.D. in molecular or cell biology or 5+ years of equivalent industry experience. Candidates must have expertise in functional genomics screening, molecular cloning, NGS, and transgenic delivery methods for mammalian cells.

NewLimit is seeking an experienced cell and molecular biologist with a background in functional genomics to join our Epigenetic Editing team. Our therapies restore cell function by reprogramming the epigenome with both natural transcription factors and programmable editors. You will be instrumental to the discovery and development process for this new class of medicines.

Salary Range: $130,000 to $170,000. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. NewLimit offers a competitive benefits package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage, and 20 days of PTO.
