The Lead Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry equipment while providing technical guidance to other technicians. This role coordinates workflow with the Chief Engineer and production leadership to minimize equipment downtime and ensure safety compliance.
Requires at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (or 2 years with advanced proficiency) and a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and steam systems, including the ability to read technical schematics.

The Lead Maintenance Technician supports the Chief Engineer in installing, maintaining and repairing industrial laundry equipment and systems while providing day-to-day guidance to maintenance technicians. This role remains primarily hands-on and is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while assisting in coordinating work, supporting training efforts, and helping ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
This is a developmental role intended to build technical and operational readiness for advancement, without formal supervisory authority. This is a safety-sensitive position.
