The Licensed Practical Nurse Scribe provides skilled nursing care, assists with emergency situations, and performs real-time clinical documentation in patient rooms. They are responsible for managing medical charts, preparing exam rooms, and administering medications under the direction of a provider.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited practical nursing program and hold a current LPN/LVN license in Louisiana. Proficiency in EMR systems and a valid BLS certification are required, with at least one year of clinical experience preferred.

The Licensed Practical Nurse Scribe provides basic and skilled nursing care to the patients under the direction of the RN, NP or Physician. The LPN utilizes observational skills and reports pertinent patient symptoms and/or changes in conditions to the provider. The LPN assists with emergency medical situations and document medications, treatments, and patient education. The LPN assists with medical management duties such as, but not limited to, working up charts, maintaining adequate supplies and maintaining a clean organized, safe environment.
