The phlebotomist is responsible for performing venipuncture on patients of all ages and collecting or preparing non-blood specimens. They must also ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering while maintaining safety and quality control standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous phlebotomy training or experience. Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency are required to work in this fast-paced environment.
