The Lab Assistant is responsible for the proper processing, preparation, routing, and storage of patient specimens within a clinical laboratory. They must also ensure quality control, maintain safety standards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have previous training or experience in specimen collection or processing. Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate laboratory equipment and lift 50 lbs are required.

This opportunity is PRN during third shift.
This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards. Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties.
