The Building Enclosure Department Manager will lead and grow a department focused on building enclosure services while driving strategic business development. They are responsible for overseeing technical projects, managing departmental operations, and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or architectural field and at least 8 years of experience in building enclosure consulting. Strong leadership skills and the ability to perform physical site inspections are essential for this role.
As a Facilities Department Manager, you strive to lead both your team and your profits. You have extensive experience both out on the field as well as handling the “business” side of facilities inspection. Engineers, inspectors, and project managers look to you for mentoring both technically and in building client relationships. You know how to set the bar high and not only achieve that goal yourself – but bring others along with you. ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Department Manager to join our Florida Building Science + Infrastructure team in Sarasota, FL. In this role, you’ll lead projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building envelopes for existing structures. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients. If you have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to grow a department, we want to hear from you.
