The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning, budgeting, and overseeing construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes. They must ensure all work is performed safely, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable laws.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in construction project documentation and reading plans, along with 2 years of experience in subcontract management and mission-critical facility projects. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required, or 8 years of equivalent experience.

The Senior Project Engineer works within the Project Management Team which is responsible for planning and overseeing the project to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the project. Ensure the project is constructed in a safe, ethical manner and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. The Project Management Team can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which in turn will affect the number of responsibilities the Senior Project Engineer will be involved in.
