Responsibilities
Own the post-sale relationship with cardiologists and care teams to drive long-term adoption of AI cardiovascular technologies. Design and execute initiatives focused on clinical workflows, referral development, and market access.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical or clinical field with experience in medical device software, cardiology, or medical imaging. Must have a track record of launching new technologies in clinical settings and proficiency in Salesforce.
Full job description
We are a rapidly growing, Boston-based medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care - leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs. Come work at Elucid and be part of delivering on our mission to prevent heart attacks and strokes!
We're building out our commercial team to make the personalized prediction and prevention of heart attack and stroke at scale possible. As our first Practice Development Manager, you'll be a trailblazer: owning the post-sale relationship with cardiologists, practice leaders, and care teams across a defined territory, building the programs and partnerships that drive long-term adoption of Elucid's technologies. You'll work closely with customers to identify needs and design initiatives around clinical workflows, referral development and market access—then execute on them. This role is for someone who is as comfortable in a physician's office as they are building a strategic account plan and who is energized by the complexity and opportunity of bringing genuinely new technology into clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in a technical or clinical field (advanced degree preferred), with previous experience in medical device software, cardiology, or medical imaging. Experience introducing new cardiovascular technology into clinical settings is strongly preferred.
A demonstrated track record of launching new technologies or workflows and driving adoption, with strong knowledge of healthcare systems, practice management, and provider reimbursement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and educate clinical stakeholders through formal presentations, workshops, peer-to-peer education, and one-on-one engagement.
Strong project management skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans that achieve growth objectives, working collaboratively with sales and marketing teams.
Proficiency in Salesforce and other business development tools.
Highly motivated, action-oriented approach suited to a fast-moving startup environment.
Work Location:
This position is focused on established west-coast accounts. Willingness to travel is required; initially, travel may exceed 50% of the time.
Salary Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $110,000-$145,000. Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job-related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
At Elucid, we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at Elucid. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability.
We understand that self-doubt can sometimes prevent great candidates from applying. If you believe you can make an impact at Elucid, even if you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply!
Elucid is a Boston-based medical technology company using histology-validated software to provide physicians with a cost-effective means to optimize treatment decisions for patients with cardiovascular disease. Advanced clinical insight from Elucid's CTA analysis equips physicians with critical information designed to enable precision medicine. Elucid is the first non-invasive software to quantify atherosclerotic plaque characteristics compared to histopathology, including Lipid Rich Necrotic Core. The company has published studies for its derivation of fractional flow reserve (FFRct) based on the vasodilative capacity of the vessel wall. Elucid's unique information informs improved treatment decisions by physicians leading to better patient outcomes, improved quality of care, and reduced healthcare costs.
