That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?
In short, this role ensures the organization runs smoothly by building, maintaining, and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while driving clear communication, operational readiness, and alignment across teams. You’ll act as a key connector between Operations, Product, Compliance, and frontline teams to make sure processes are documented, understood, and consistently executed.
In long, as the role, you will be responsible for
Partnering with functional leaders and frontline teams to develop, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs that are accurate, actionable, and aligned with real-world execution
Conducting process reviews and stakeholder interviews to validate that SOPs reflect current practices and are easy for end users to follow
Owning SOP governance, including documentation standards, approval workflows, audits, and ongoing updates
Driving accountability across teams for SOP accuracy, consistency, and timely updates
Building and maintaining a centralized, searchable repository for all SOP and operational documentation
Leading operational readiness for new initiatives, system updates, and process changes, including documentation, communication, and training coordination
Collaborating with Operations, Product, Compliance, and Change Ambassador teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption of changes
Creating and distributing clear, effective communication related to process updates, system enhancements, and policy changes
Monitoring feedback and operational performance to identify documentation gaps, process improvements, and training opportunities
Independently managing projects, timelines, and stakeholder engagement to deliver on key initiatives
So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking For?
Strong communicator who can translate complex processes into clear, digestible documentation
Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and consistency
Collaborative partner who thrives working cross-functionally with diverse teams
Proactive problem-solver who identifies gaps and drives continuous improvement
Adaptable and comfortable navigating change in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver independently
Influencer who can drive alignment and accountability without direct authority
The Specifics.
3+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, business operations, or SOP/documentation management
Proven experience developing, maintaining, and governing SOPs in a cross-functional environment
Experience working with operational teams and leadership to document and improve end-to-end processes
Hands-on experience managing documentation systems or knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint or similar platforms)
Experience supporting operational readiness for process changes, system implementations, or transformation initiatives
Strong background in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and change enablement
Experience creating operational communications and supporting training or adoption efforts
Demonstrated ability to manage projects, timelines, and competing priorities independently
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Systems, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Nice to Have
Experience working in highly regulated or compliance-driven environments
Familiarity with change management frameworks or methodologies
Experience supporting enterprise-wide process standardization initiatives
