The Senior Credit Analyst independently underwrites complex commercial credit requests and provides risk-based recommendations to lending teams. They are responsible for analyzing financial performance, monitoring loan portfolios, and mentoring junior analysts to ensure compliance with bank policies.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics and at least 3 years of commercial credit analysis experience. Prior banking experience and proficiency in accounting principles and Microsoft Office are required.
The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for independently underwriting complex commercial credit requests and providing clear, well-supported recommendations to the Bank's lending and credit teams. This position analyzes borrowers, guarantors, financial performance, repayment capacity, collateral, industry conditions, and transaction structure across a diversified commercial loan portfolio.
This position partners closely with commercial lenders, provides ongoing portfolio guidance, assists with borrower and prospect meetings, and mentors less-experienced credit analysts. The position reports to a Chief Credit Officer and supports the Bank's credit policies, risk-management standards, and regulatory compliance obligations.
