The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the building, including common areas, sidewalks, and waste disposal. They also assist the Building Superintendent with simple repairs and interact with tenants using a trauma-informed approach.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for entire shifts, and work in all weather conditions. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and hand tools is required.

Job Purpose
The Porter helps to ensure that the building remains clean and served. The Porter's main purpose is to ensure the building's cleanliness and assist the Super and Facilities Supervisor with any task that supports the building's ongoing functioning. The Porter will interact with the tenants in a trauma-informed capacity. The Porter must be reliable, honest, and able to work independently and efficiently.
