The Reintegration Social Worker provides clinical assessments, counseling, and case management to incarcerated individuals transitioning back into the community. They facilitate group interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to support recovery and stability.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and be registered with the Alberta College of Social Work. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and experience working with vulnerable populations or in mental health are highly preferred.
The Mustard Seed is seeking a compassionate candidate with the clinical expertise to support individuals experiencing poverty, homelessness, and substance use disorders.
The Mustard Seed Pathways to Integration Program aims to support recently incarcerated adults struggling with substance use and addiction in their transition back into the community. The program emphasizes recovery, stability, and overall wellness by building recovery capital and providing critical pre-release and post-release services. The Pathways to Integration Program collaborates with Edmonton's Remand Centers and Female Annex.
Reporting to the Reintegration Supervisor, The Reintegration Social Worker is a member of The Pathway’s to Reintegration Program whose role is to support incarcerated individuals’ transition to healthy lifestyles in the community. The Reintegration Social Worker utilizes clinical skills to support individuals who experience poverty, homelessness, and substance use disorders. This position will focus on addressing mental health needs through individual case management. They will provide assessment, counselling, and referrals to meet the needs of their clients. They will work in collaboration with outside community agencies and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
