The Sterile Processing Tech II is responsible for the decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of surgical instruments and equipment. They ensure all items are processed according to infection control protocols and accurately delivered to patient care areas.
Requires a high school diploma and current certification from NICHSPD, IAHCSMM, or CBSPD. Candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of surgical instrumentation and various sterilization processes.
