The Patient Access Specialist manages inbound communications to guide members through pharmacy benefit programs and resolve inquiries with a one-call resolution approach. They coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and drug manufacturers while maintaining accurate documentation and strict adherence to HIPAA standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare call center environment. Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and G-Suite is required, along with the ability to work onsite in Plano, TX for the initial onboarding period.
