The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient responses and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans for individuals and families. They provide leadership within the professional practice setting, including delegating tasks and participating in quality and safety initiatives.
Candidates must be new graduates with a current Pennsylvania RN license or multi-state licensure through the eNLC. Required clearances include Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 FBI fingerprinting, along with CPR certification.
The Registered Nurse assesses human responses and plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for individuals or families for whom the nurse is responsible. The Registered Nurse is fully responsible for all actions as a licensed nurse and is accountable to patients for the quality of care delivered.
