Red Oak Recovery Center is a clinician-run treatment program with campuses established to serve the needs of our clients. Our Red Oak campuses offer a unique blend of clinical rehabilitation, 12 step addiction recovery, proven addiction therapy services, family counseling, and experiential and adventure therapy for men. The Willows at Red Oak offers a sanctuary for women to focus on healing and help prepare them for fulfilling, post-treatment lives.
We are seeking a Clinical Director to add to our dynamic team. This position will support our facility in Asheville, NC. The Clinical Director oversees all aspects of clinical programming, ensuring the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. This role involves supervising clinical staff, managing patient care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Clinical Director works closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment programs that align with best practices in addiction recovery.
This is a dually licensed position that requires full LCMHC/LCSW/LMFT supervision licensure and full LCAS.
This position requires onsite employment at our facility in Asheville, NC.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and supervision to therapists, counselors, and BHTs, ensuring clinical excellence and adherence to treatment protocols
Develop and implement clinical programming, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational goals
Oversee admissions, discharges, and extensions of treatment, ensuring decisions align with patient needs and clinical best practices
Ensure all treatment schedules, staff schedules, and group therapy offerings are maintained and delivered effectively
Conduct staff meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision to support professional development and ensure high standards of patient care
Carries a case load pending census
Provide direct clinical supervision to therapists and counselors working toward licensure
Ensure ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff, enhancing knowledge in addiction treatment and evidence-based practices
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective actions as necessary
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and accreditation requirements
Conduct regular audits of patient records, documentation, and treatment plans to maintain quality and compliance
Participate in utilization review meetings, representing patient needs in both clinical and financial considerations
Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinical operations and enhance patient outcomes
Mediate patient and family concerns regarding treatment delivery, ensuring a patient-centered approach
Collaborate with medical staff, case management, and social services to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Stay current with emerging trends in addiction treatment and integrate new research into clinical programming
Qualifications
Full supervision licensure (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT) required upon hire
Full LCAS licensure required upon hire
CPR certification required (training will be provided)
Three years of experience in managing clinical programs preferred
