The Developmental Specialist supports individuals with disabilities in achieving personal goals and integrating into their community. Responsibilities include providing emotional and physical support, managing daily home operations, and documenting progress toward outcomes.
A high school diploma and a valid USA driver's license are required. Experience working with populations facing mental health, intellectual, or substance use disorders is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Week 1: Monday (1:00pm-8:00pm)Experience working with children or adults (dependent upon population served) with a mental health diagnosis, an intellectual/developmental disability, or substance use disorder | Not Required
• Sleepover at a residential setting may be required.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings and training as required. Maintain certification in all agency, state and federal training requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal statutes and regulations related to specific program areas.
• Follow service definition guidelines for services being provided.
• Complete all other relevant responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
