We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team at the Recovery Center of Niagara in Newfane, NY. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a supportive environment focused on health and well-being, ensuring residents receive nutritious and well-prepared meals that meet their dietary needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual resident needs
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper hygiene and sanitation standards
- Plan menus in collaboration with healthcare professionals to meet nutritional requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and food handling regulations
- Record and document meal preparation and service activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare or institutional settings
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines
