The Optical Technician is responsible for dispensing and fitting glasses and contacts based on prescriptions while maximizing retail sales. They provide a high-quality patient experience by recommending lenses and frames that meet medical and aesthetic needs.
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a preference for previous medical or ophthalmic experience. Candidates should have at least one year of customer-facing experience and ABO/NCLE certifications are preferred.
