Supervises daily maintenance and repair activities of clinical engineering staff and external vendors while implementing cost reduction strategies. Manages departmental budgets, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees the Medical Equipment Management Program.
Requires an associate degree in electronics or biomedical engineering and ten years of healthcare experience, including five years in a supervisory role. A bachelor's degree and CCE or CHTM certifications are preferred.

Implements cost of service reduction strategies related to technology ownership at assigned McLaren Healthcare Corporation sites. Represents the Clinical Engineering Department in attendance at hospital safety committee meetings, and may participate in planning meetings related to purchase, installation and user training on new equipment acquisitions. Implements CE departmental policies and procedures to ensure the hospital’s ongoing compliance with state and federal regulations and regulatory agencies. Identifies and implements programs related to expansion of technical services, both internally and externally.
