Position Summary:
Responsible for the architecture of IT Security systems, and designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This position will be responsible for identifying threats and vulnerabilities in systems and software, then applying their skills to developing and implementing high-tech solutions to defend against hacking, malware and ransomware, insider threats and all types of cybercrime.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities as Assigned:
Architects security solutions without oversight at a program wide level while collaborating with multiple internal departments and vendors
Influences technical decisions through exceptional expertise while aligning architectural designs with business-driven processes and goals
Analyzes security systems and seek continuous improvements
Plans, implements, manages, monitors, and upgrades security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
Assess the organization's security requirements and set appropriate best practices and standards cross functionally across the entire security stack
Oversees the organization's most crucial digital systems and IT infrastructure.
Enables the appropriate security controls to protect the organization's data and infrastructure
Researches vulnerabilities, performs vulnerability scanning and alleviates threats
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering, Healthcare, Business or related field.
6 years’ experience in Information Technology with 3 years in a security focused role
5 years performing Security in an enterprise level healthcare setting.

·10 years of progressively responsible Information Technology experience with 7 years in a security focused role

Preferred:
