The Behavioral Health Clinician provides brief, evidence-based interventions and case management services to students within school-based health centers. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and school staff to support student well-being and manage the delivery of care.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling and have experience working with children and adolescents. Applicants must be eligible for and actively working toward obtaining an LICSW or LMHC license.
Work Location and Schedule: This position will serve two School Health Centers within Worcester Public Schools: Doherty Memorial High School SBHC, 299 Highland St, Worcester, MA and Worcester East Middle SBHC, 420 Grafton St Worcester MA. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. School-Based Health Center (SBHC) location assignments may vary based on program and patient care needs. Any changes in site placement will be communicated with reasonable notice by the SBHC Director.
One of the following combinations of education and employment experience must be met in order to be considered for the position:
