Too Sweet Cakes was founded in 2016 by Shelbi Geyer, whose love for baking started as a young girl, sketching cake designs and dreaming of one day opening her own bakery. That dream stayed with her, fueled by a passion for creativity, connection, and a belief that food could be something truly meaningful. What started as a small wholesale bakery quickly grew into something more. In 2018, we opened our first storefront in Bend, Oregon, creating a space where pastries weren’t just desserts—they were memories in the making. From there Too Sweet Cakes expanded to Lake Oswego, and today, we proudly operate four retail locations across Oregon and Arizona, with a fifth location opening in 2026 in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Beyond our storefronts, you’ll find Too Sweet Cakes pastries featured in over 100 locations across Oregon, Washington, and Arizona. It’s been an incredible journey—one made possible by the extraordinary team who has brought their talents, heart, and dedication into every part of the business.
