As an integral member of S&PDow Jones Indices’(S&P DJI)multi-assetmarketing team, this positionis responsible forleading product marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and engagement of S&PDJI’smulti-asset offerings. This role will focus on crafting compelling product narratives and content strategies that resonate with target audiences intheevolving insurance, bank and asset management landscape.
As part of the broader commercial organization, Marketingis responsible forconnecting product marketing activities (product launches, content creation, go-to-market strategies, and client education) to specific commercial outcomes. This role is essential in positioning S&PDJIas a leader in the insurance and structured product space,leveragingessential data, research, and insights.
The individual will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of product marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
As part of theglobalMarketing team, you willbe responsible forleading product marketing initiatives and content creation efforts that connect Marketing activities to specific commercial outcomes, focusing on:
Content Strategy and Development:Design and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that showcases S&P DJI’s multi-asset solutions. Create high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, brochures, video scripts, webinars and educational materials that effectively communicate index features, benefits and market insights.
Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and refine the positioning and messaging for S&PDJI’smulti-asset index solutions. Craft compelling narratives that highlight the unique value propositions and benefits to various audiences,specifically insurance.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for new product launches and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful rollout and market penetrationof multi-asset benchmark offerings and downstream products built on S&P DJI indices.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research toidentifytrends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform product development and marketing strategies, ensuring S&PDJI’sofferingsremainrelevant and competitive.
Account-Based Marketing: Engage with key partners andclients ingloballyto promote awareness and adoption of S&PDJI’smulti-asset solutions.Develop tailored marketing strategies to nurture relationships and drivedownstreamproduct usage.
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of content marketing and product marketing initiatives. Provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $153,790 - $161,845 Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
Qualifications:
7+ years of professional experience in product marketing within financial services, with a strong focus onmulti-asset strategies, Insurance, Investment Banks preferred.
Provenexpertisein content marketing and content creation, with a portfolio of successful campaigns and materials thatdemonstrateeffective messaging and audience engagement.
In-depth understanding of multi-asset investment strategies, and the product development lifecycle.
Proventrack recordof developing successful product marketing strategies and campaigns that drive measurable results.
Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred).
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with product launches, go-to-market strategies, and account-based marketing in themulti-assetspace.
Familiarity withdigitalmarketing channels and tactics, including social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
Analytical mindset with experience in market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and external partners.
