Responsible for the development and growth of the Environmental Division's book of business within assigned territories. This includes underwriting combined form packages, managing portfolio profitability, and maintaining visibility with brokers.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in liability underwriting. Candidates should have a proven track record in portfolio management and established relationships with wholesale and retail brokers.
Position Overview
This position has clear and distinct accountability for business results for an assigned territory (branch) or territories (multiple branches) within the Environmental Division. The UW will be responsible for continued development and growth of the book of business and will be responsible for all aspects of portfolio management, including: solicitation of submissions, underwriting analysis, preparing and issuing indications/quotations/binders, and marketing.
