About AXA:
AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.
AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers.
Job overview:
We have a new opportunity for a Partner Management Office Lead to join us. You’ll provide leadership to the Partner Management Office team, collectively ensuring all contractual agreements, third-party risk and compliance activities and reporting requirements across the Partner Management team are mapped, executed and tracked on an ongoing basis to deliver value and efficiency to AXA UK, in line with organisational requirements and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Manage contracting activity within the scope and parameters of the Partner Management team, collaborating with colleagues in Procurement as necessary in order to deliver optimal outcomes for AXA UK and the supplier in question
Act as the Partner Management owner of the third-party contracting process, third-party risk processes and reporting processes, liaising with Procurement and Third-Party Risk Management as appropriate
Provide line management support, coaching and guidance to the Partner Management Office team both onshore and offshore
Working with the wider Partner Management team, provide organisational leadership to ensure work orders, contract changes, contract renewals, third-party risk and compliance activities and reporting requirements are understood, co-ordinated, delivered and tracked appropriately across the team’s organisational scope and supplier portfolio
Document existing processes and identify opportunities to make significant improvements, related to all activities within the team's scope, driving efficiency on behalf of the wider Partner Management function and AXA UK
Lead ad-hoc activities across the AXA UK organisation, where an initiative is expected to impact multiple members of the Partner Management team, acting as the single point of contact and co-ordination across the group
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience:
Significant experience managing and developing business processes and running team operations, ideally within a commercial and regulated environment
Extensive experience negotiating contracts with third-party suppliers, particularly within the IT Services category
Proven ability to develop strong relationships with third-party suppliers
Line management experience, including nurturing new talent and encouraging career development
High levels of commercial acumen and financial awareness, to drive cost efficiency throughout the supplier engagement lifecycle
Data-literate, with a good understanding of reporting systems and data structures
Able to work with new technology systems, understanding how to adopt and adapt them to drive process efficiency and automated reporting
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
Adaptable, collaborative with a clear focus on strategic objectives
