  • Manage the production workforce, including shift supervisors and team leads, focusing on engagement, training, and performance management.
  • Communicate regularly with departmental heads to ensure production activities support overall company objectives and address any cross-functional bottlenecks.

3. Manufacturing Engineering (Localization and Sustaining)

  • Localization (Technology Transfer): Lead end-to-end technical efforts to transfer products manufactured in other countries to domestic production facilities. This includes managing the replication of tooling, fixtures, and testing methods, as well as validating that transferred processes meet all engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Sustaining (Process Improvement & Automation): Oversee the manufacturing engineering team responsible for the ongoing support and continuous enhancement of existing product lines. Drive initiatives to improve manufacturing processes through the introduction of automation, semi-automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies to increase efficiency, consistency, and capacity.

  • Ensure all manufacturing processes are documented, standardized, and continuously improved for safety, quality, and reliability.

4. Warehouse and Inventory Management

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, kitting, and finished goods shipping.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through robust cycle counting programs and adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to maximize storage capacity and minimize handling costs..

5. Financial Management and Performance Analysis

  • Monitor operational costs and conduct regular budget reviews to control expenses and maximize profitability.
  • Analyze operational reports and performance data to evaluate productivity, efficiency, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and execute the annual operational plan, including capital budgeting (CapEx) and headcount planning.
  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance for senior management, highlighting achievements and recommending corrective actions.

6. Culture and People Management

  • Implement initiatives to build a positive, engaging, and high-performance work environment.
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) and safety across all functional areas.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the operations leadership team (Production Managers, Manufacturing Engineering Managers, Warehouse Supervisors), focusing on engagement, training, and performance management.
