Operate directional drilling equipment to install conduits and underground infrastructure for telecommunications. Coordinate drilling activities with team members while ensuring strict adherence to health and safety policies.
Must have previous directional drilling and locating experience along with a valid AZ driver's license and a clean driver's abstract. Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions and confined spaces is required.

Performs box locating, directional drilling, installation of conduits for various cables, installation of pedestals and concrete bases, flush mount vaults and enclosures
Safely operates directional drilling equipment and locating tools
Coordinate’s drilling activities with other activities, positioning or moving of loads and conduct in response to hand or audio signals from team members
Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, CVOR guidelines and always acting in a safe manner
Complete all required paperwork daily
Handle and distribute construction materials, loading and unloading vehicles with supplies, equipment, remove all debris from work sites
Must have previous directional drilling/locating experience
Previous experience in telecommunications is an asset
Must have and maintain a valid AZ driver’s license
Must have and maintain a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), working at heights, in confined spaces and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
Applicants that reside in Ottawa will be given preference due to the location of this project
Some travel will be required to site and/or other office locations
This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location.
Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances.
