Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with automated packaging machinery. Must possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical schematics.
The Packaging Line Mechanic II is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving packaging equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient production operations. This role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging lines and related support equipment while ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), safety regulations, and company quality standards. The PLM II serves as a technical resource for equipment troubleshooting, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and assists in equipment installations and process enhancements.
