The apprentice will install, maintain, and repair complex electronic, mechanical, and control systems within a distribution center. They will also participate in a structured learning program, including classroom training and on-the-job learning, to prepare for a technician role.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to attend a 9-week off-site training program. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and the physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, such as lifting 50 lbs, are required.

The Mechatronics & Robotics Apprentice (MRA) will learn to install, alter, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic, mechanical, computer, control systems and components in a complex fulfillment/distribution center through the completion of a comprehensive classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job learning program. The apprentice will also train in and adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures. Upon completion of the program, the MRA will be promoted to Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT).
Participants must be able to attend a 9-week training at one of four colleges: Vincennes University (Vincennes, IN), Lehigh Carbon Community College (Allentown, PA), Bakersfield College (Bakersfield, CA), Ogeechee Technical College (Statesboro, GA), or Dallas College – Eastfield Campus (Dallas, TX). Travel-related expenses, including room and board, during the training will be provided.
