The Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing reliable software to control spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules. They will own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements capture through to flight operational support.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 3 years of experience in spacecraft or safety-critical software development. Proficiency in C++ and experience with real-time embedded systems are required.

The Firmware Engineer on the Flight Software team is responsible for determining how our spacecraft behaves and operates in orbit and building reliable software to ensure it happens. The team is responsible for all phases of development, starting from requirements capture through test, and flight operational support.
