The instructor should be well versed in Medical Terminology, Laboratory Safety (OSHA), Infection Control, Appointment Scheduling, EHR usage, Filing, Medical Law and Ethics, Vital Signs, assisting in a Physical Exam, Pharmacology, Dosage Calculation, and Medication Administration (giving injections). In addition: general knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is required. This instructor will also teach courses about the Special Senses, Nutrition, and the Digestive and Reproductive Systems.
This is a Full-time hybrid role with a blend of on-campus and remote work, including some day and evening hoursQualificationsMinimum Requirements: Valid RMA, CMA, or other recognized national healthcare certification required. Associates Degree preferred. A minimum of three to five years of healthcare related experience. Excellent Medical Assistant Instructors are committed to education, a passion for the medical field and a sincere desire to see others succeed.
