Responsibilities
The teaching assistant will support the First Language Acquisition course by preparing materials, assisting students, and grading assignments. They are expected to dedicate 130 hours over the semester to these academic tasks.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an undergraduate Honours degree in Linguistics or an equivalent qualification. The role requires successful completion of mandatory legislated training provided by the University of Ottawa.

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.
