Join Marcon's Investments & Acquisitions team and play a key role in identifying and evaluating opportunities that shape the future of our real estate portfolio. As an Acquisition Analyst, you will provide the financial analysis, market intelligence, and due diligence that support strategic investment decisions across acquisitions and early-stage development initiatives. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Investments & Acquisitions, you'll contribute to financial modelling, market research, planning analysis, and investment reporting while collaborating with Development and other business partners. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys solving complex problems, interpreting market trends, and supporting investment decisions through thoughtful analysis.
The Opportunity
You'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for evaluating opportunities that contribute to Marcon's long-term growth. From underwriting potential acquisitions to researching market and planning conditions, your work will provide valuable insights that help inform strategic decisions.
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in real estate investments while gaining exposure to acquisitions, development, financial modelling, and portfolio strategy within one of British Columbia's leading real estate companies.
What You Bring
3–5 years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions, investments, finance, urban land economics, or a related analytical field
Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Urban Land Economics, Real Estate, Economics, or a related discipline
Experience building financial models and performing investment analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
Knowledge of Metro Vancouver real estate markets, development processes, and planning frameworks
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
A collaborative approach and a desire to continuously improve processes and outcomes
