Position Summary:
The Product Coordinator plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting the development, launch, and lifecycle management of our consumer products. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, a proactive communicator, analytical, and passionate about consumer experience—even from the background. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product execution and readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Set-Up & Data Management:
Own and manage item setup processes across internal systems and retailer portals Ensure accuracy and completeness of product data in internal systems.
Maintain accurate and timely product data, including specifications, pricing, and packaging details.
Maintain comparison information for current product portfolio as well as competitive items.
Partner with supply chain and operations teams to ensure data integrity and readiness for production.
Organize and maintain project documentation, including specifications, design files, test reports, and compliance certificates.
Sample Management:
Coordinate the acquisition, organization, and distribution of product samples.
Track sample requests and timelines to support sales and marketing efforts.
Assist in coordinating product testing activities.
Sales & Marketing Support:
Assist in developing product presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Support merchandising initiatives with accurate product information.
Assist in gathering market research data on consumer trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.
Assist in coordinating the creation of various marketing assets, such as packaging, digital assets, video content, lifestyle imagery, and digital render.
Financial & Analytical Support:
Work with Product and Finance teams to track product costs, margins, and pricing.
Conduct basic data analysis to support business decisions and product performance tracking.
Assist with forecasting inputs and inventory planning discussions as needed
Process Coordination:
Maintain and update project timelines, schedules, and critical path activities and cross-functional deliverables to ensure on-time product launches
Help identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
1–3 years of experience in a product, marketing, or operations support role—preferably in consumer goods
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and managing through influence
Consumer-first mindset and a passion for great products—even from behind the scenes
Experience with ERP systems and item setup processes is a plus
Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
This role requires on-site presence in the Stamford, CT office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
