The Senior Accountant III manages all treaty reinsurance accounting processes and transactions for external cessions. This includes overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings across various accounting regimes and managing relationships with external reinsurers and brokers.
Candidates need 3-5 years of professional experience in P&C reinsurance accounting and a strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and local GAAP. A Master's degree and professional accounting certifications like CPA or ACCA are preferred.

The Senior Accountant III will own, manage and oversee all treaty reinsurance accounting processes and transactions for Az Commercial external cessions. This role in a multi location team with global responsibilities is linked with external reinsurers and brokers, across all accounting regimes in various systems. Ensuring accurate, timely and efficient closings and reportings is key in the evolving, complex environment. Special capital management reinsurance set ups with AZ Group / Az Re are also part of the global role.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $115K to 135K USD. The annual base salary range represents nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
