The Personal Trainer/Member Experience Representative provides personalized fitness support, conducts assessments, and designs training programs for members. They also maintain the fitness floor, handle member inquiries, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old and hold current Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certifications. A recognized Personal Trainer certification is required, and a Criminal Reference Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search is mandatory.

Salary: Personal Training: $25.63 - $35.36 per hour, based on current Personal Trainer Wage Grid
Member Experience Representative:
0-500 hours $18.85 per hour
501-1000 hours $19.41 per hour
1001 – 1500 hours $20.00 per hour
1500 + hours $20.60 per hour

Reporting to the Fitness Supervisor, the Personal Trainer/Member Experience Representative will work collaboratively with all YMCA staff and volunteers to provide exceptional service to members and guests of the YMCA. They will provide members with a comfortable and productive fitness environment through quality customer service and personal training and help the fitness department meet personal training targets.
