The Mortgage Loan Officer is responsible for originating residential first mortgages through an external referral network to meet sales and deposit goals. This includes consulting with members on financing needs, interviewing applicants for eligibility, and managing the full loan application process.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in residential mortgage lending. Ability to obtain NMLS registration and proficiency in lead generation and mortgage industry practices are required.

About the role:
The mortgage loan officer is exclusively an outside sales position that is responsible for the origination of residential first mortgages via an external referral network to reach goals and credit union objectives. This position is responsible for generating prospects through their own individual efforts without the aid of internal referrals.
This is a commission based position with the potential for significant earnings based on business generated.
