What You'll Be Doing:

Customer Engagement & Collections

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent retail banking customers across multiple product lines.
• Engage customers through outbound and inbound communication channels to discuss outstanding obligations.
• Negotiate repayment plans and tailored solutions that support both customer and business needs.
• Educate customers on available payment options and support mechanisms.

Portfolio Management

• Prioritize collection activities based on risk, exposure, and recovery potential.
• Monitor customer commitments and ensure adherence to agreed repayment arrangements.
• Identify early warning signs and proactively intervene to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Maintain accurate portfolio records and collection notes.

Customer Experience

• Deliver a professional, empathetic, and customer-centric collections experience.
• Handle customer concerns and objections effectively while maintaining positive relationships.
• Support customers experiencing financial difficulty by identifying suitable resolution options.
• Ensure every interaction reflects RAKBANK's commitment to service excellence.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and customer conduct standards.
• Maintain the highest standards of governance, documentation, and record keeping.
• Escalate complex customer situations and potential risks appropriately.
• Support audit and compliance reviews when required.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Consistently achieve collection, recovery, and productivity targets.
• Contribute ideas that improve collection effectiveness and customer outcomes.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, policies, systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Support team initiatives and knowledge sharing across the collections function.

What We're Looking For:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in Collections, Recoveries, Customer Service, Contact Centre, Banking Operations, Financial Services, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Experience handling customer negotiations and conflict resolution is highly desirable.
• Banking or financial services experience will be an advantage.

Industry Exposure

• Understanding of retail banking products such as Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Auto Loans, and related products.
• Knowledge of collections processes, customer rehabilitation programs, and repayment solutions.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within the banking sector.
