The Patient Access Representative is responsible for registering patients, maintaining medical records, and managing the dissemination of resources to meet patient needs. They also handle incoming calls, process paperwork, and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards regarding protected health information.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a healthcare environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Job Purpose
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for addressing public needs and managing the dissemination of resources to meet patient needs. The Patient Access Representative is also responsible for registering patients who need medical attention, maintaining medical records, receiving incoming calls and processing paperwork.
The schedule for this position is 3:00PM - 11:30 PM every other Sat/Sun and 1 day off during the week.
