The Patient Advocate manages the front desk by scheduling appointments, handling multi-line phones, and greeting visitors. They are responsible for maintaining the flow of information between patients, physicians, and staff while ensuring privacy standards.
A high school diploma is required, though a Medical Assistant certification or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates should ideally have at least one year of administrative medical office experience and familiarity with EMR systems.
Our Patient Advocate will be responsible for the efficiency, accuracy and professionalism of the front desk. Primary duties include providing exemplary customer service while scheduling appointments, answering multi-line phones and emails and directing patients and all inquiries appropriately. The Patient Advocate works in a collaborative relationship with the front desk team as well as with other departments and employees.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
